Running Regime 2012

As I am about to embark on my first ever beach holiday at the end of this month, I have decided that I need to get in shape. I'm not overweight but I would like to tone up my body so I decided the best way is to go for a run, seeing as the weather should be getting better (even though this is British weather I am in?!).. So here's how it's going.. (Please note, this is probably the unfittest times you ever see anyone run! So no laughing)! =D

Day #1
Date: 5th June 2012
Distance: 4.61Km
Time: 33mins 10seconds
The first step is the hardest step right? It was difficult in trying to keep up my stamina, speed and surroundings. It was a challenge but I was determined to get running into my routine. The rain didn't help motivate my run, although it did cool me down slightly.
Average: 7.18min per km

Day #2
Date: 6th June 2012
Distance: 4.59Km
Time: 27mins 39seconds
Today, felt good. I wasn't struggling much and there was a cool breeze which helped my run! An excellent result. Plus my legs and lower back was aching of pain! But once you start running, the pain had gone!
Average: 5.97min per km

Day #3
Date: 7th June 2012
Rest
My legs was in the highest pain ever! I couldn't even walk properly! But I still had to try, as I had work.

Day #4
Date: 8th June 2012
Distance: 4.32Km
Time: 25mins 52seconds
I think because of the recent junk food I have been consuming, it has effected my stamina. I didn't manage to run as much as I would usually. However, I am starting to get a little addicted and obsessed with taking my runs!
Average: 5.91min per km

Day #5
Date: 9th June 2012
Rest
As I went to Captial's Summertime ball, there was no time to run, but I was dancing all day with the music!

Day #6
Date: 10th June 2012
Rest
I did want to go for a run, but I went out and got back late. So I decided to give it another day of rest.

Day #7
Date: 11th June 2012
Rest
It was heavy rain and I didn't go for a run! Even though I wanted to.

Day #8
Date: 12th June 2012
Distance: 3.47Km
Time: 21mins 02seconds
I ran on my own today and I did wanted to run more however there was a group of kids in my running path and after passing them three times, I decided to stop. It was really distracting.
Average: 6.06 min per km

Day #9
Date: 13th June 2012
Rest
I just wasn't too keen on running.

Day #10
Date: 14th June 2012
Rest
I didn't run again today. The weather was miserable and I was shattered.

Day #11
Date: 15th June 2012
Rest
As I did overtime and went out for drinks, I didn't run.

Day #12
Date: 16th June 2012
Rest
No running again.

Day #13
Date: 17th June 2012
Distance: 4.96Km
Time: 23mins 34seconds
I decided to run on the running machine I have at home be causes I'm feeling lazy to go outside for a run. It has been a while since I used the running machine and some reason it always seems harder! My legs don't feel as tired as they usually do, after using the machine but I am sweating way more than a usual run in the park!
Average: 4.71 min per km

Chicago Rib Shack

Location: Westfield Stratford City
Meal: BBQ Chicken Wings with Celery sticks, Chips & Chocolate Shake.
Price: £9.45

Today's lunch was average. I decided to go for the BBQ wings as opposed to the salt and pepper wings. The BBQ wings was nice but there was nothing special. The chocolate shake was quite good but not the best I've had. It tasted a little manufactured. It didn't taste like real chocolate but nevertheless it was good.

An overall rating 5/10.

“An autistic girl with powerful martial art skills looks to settle her ailing mother's debts by seeking out the ruthless gangs that owe her family money.” – IMDB

I really enjoyed this movie! It had a good amount of action and karate scenes, which towards the end of the movie you can see that the cast actually did get hurt in making some of them scenes! I felt it was directed well and even though this film wasn’t solely focused on its storyline, I felt it was executed well. The film keeps your emotions jumping about!

Overall, I’d give it a 7/10 and a recommend watch!

Snow White And The Huntsman (2012)

Director: Rupert Sanders

Main Cast: Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Chris Hemsworth as The Huntsman, Charlize Theron as Ravenna, Sam Claflin as William.
Duration: 2hr 7mins

In this version of Snow White, the Huntsman accepted the Queen’s deal to find Snow White (who escaped from the castle) and to bring her back to the Queen in return to see his dead wife. When the Queen’s brother revealed that it was impossible even for the Queen to bring back the dead the huntsmen is furious and changes his mind. Later, the Huntsman discovers Snow White’s real identity and helps her. After a struggle, and a lot of action, Snow White decides to fight back and kill the queen, as she is the only one with the power to.  The film was good and there was a lot of great special effects scenes and action but personally the ending was a little disappointing.

Overall, I’d give it a 6/10.

This was my first time trying Thai Green Curry and it did not disappoint! It was smooth and wasn't too spicy neither. It gave a little kick of spice as you ate it and I enjoyed it throughly. It was quickly prepared and wasn't too much to consume. An excellent little lunch :D
