Second time - ‘ARI GOLD’ Cheeseburger ................................................ Beef patty, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickled onions, Ketchup, Smokey P&B mayo, Brioche. £7.50
Price: Roughly £15pp (including drinks)

What I really liked about Patty & Bun is their burger. I would say the Jose Jose was a 10/10, and was such a juicy burger, full of flavour. I could have eaten more! Something about the experience that didn't feel quite amazing and for that reason it lost a point. The Ari Gold burger was good, but I would not have rated it that high. Nevertheless, it is definitely a place to try and even i went back to visit twice the very next day. Queues can be about 30-40minute wait but it is worth the try!

An overall rating 9/10.

Burger & Lobster

Location: Threadneedle street, London
Meal: Lobster steamed, Jailsoco Rose
Price: Roughly £25pp (including drinks)

This restaurant has been on my list to go for about 3 years since it first arrived in London. I believe it has been about 3 times I have attempted to go but the queues have always beat me to trying it. So when I finally did manage to get my hands on this place, it was as I expected. Lobster was good but I wouldn't say amazing. Drink was really good. I would go again to try their burger but I probably not a place I would rant and rave about, perhaps overrated.

An overall rating 7/10.

2016 Resolutions

Looking back on 2015, it has been another great year for me. I travelled more, advanced to the second year of training of my doctorate, continued to socialize with friends, meeting new faces, facing new challenges, gaining more counseling experience, and generally just enjoying life. The last days of 2015 was spent in the Philippines, which was an experience in itself, it was the first time I ever spent Christmas and New Years away from my family. It was different but still good.

The way 2016 began helped point me in the direction for 2016. I have decided 2016 is about change, things I want to change.
