Hi! I'm Lai, a Chinese girl, born and bred in London. 

I like to keep written memories, jotting down aspects of my life, thoughts and feelings and significant events, hence why I started a blog. The blog is split into categories as you will see on the right panel.

Career 
'Inspire & Influence' 

I am the person who loves to try my hand at almost anything. I find learning a thrilling experience and most of it the reward of gaining a new skill or even knowledge absolutely exciting. My career journey has been just that, a mix of experiences from working in a TV Studio to selling retail goods to practicing as a counsellor at a Charity.

I've always said, I wanted a job that would inspire and influence. 
So, that is what I intend to do.

I have the most craziest of dreams sometimes.

Films
'Popcorn Ready' 

Recently, I find it rare to find the time to watch a film and really enjoy it but when I do, I love it. I love films with great twists and unexpected storylines, at the same time I do love a good romantic comedy.

Fitness
'On your marks, get set, go!' 

I love sport and keeping fit. Running is a new found love I had since 2008 when I first took part in my first ever 5km run. The experience was so good I had to do it again every year, with each time trying to raise some money for a good cause.

Life
'Just Live' 

I believe in having fun and making most of life. I love travelling, exploring, making lists, achieving, overcoming challenges, being inspired, trying new things, experiences, hearing stories from different walks of life, nature, animals, learning new skills, creating, going on adventures, bright lights in a dark city.. The list goes on..

I have a wonderful network of friends and family and an awesome boyfriend. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world! I love our crazy adventures!

Music
'Play it loud' 

Another big love of mine is music. I do have a specific taste and with music and love RnB and slow jams, some pop and very rarely other music. I really love the loud beat and bass of music, where it just triggers something inside and it feels good. 

Quotes
'Live, Love, Laugh' 

I'm a big sucker for quotes, mainly because it either really inspires me or it really captures what I want to say in the most succinct way. Whenever I feel I need a good quote to restart my mood or re motivate myself, a quote is what I usually turn to.

'Love' 

The feeling of love is life's greatest gift.

Restaurants
'Nom Nom Nom' 

Probably the thing that burns the biggest hole in my wallet. Good food deservers to be shared and tasted by others. My rating scales from 0-10 - 
10 being I could eat this even when I'm full, it is that good
0 being I would not eat this even if I was starving

Travel
'Wanderlust Adventures' 

This is probably my greatest love of all, and my biggest weakness. I fall in love every time I travel. The adventure, the culture, the food, the new experiences, the timeless feeling. Everything about traveling puts me in another world. My absolute passion.
