Will Smith plays the 'date doctor' who helps the decent guys get the girls. Along the way, he meets a girl who has a very pessimistic view of men, they end up liking each other but there are some drama before any type of happy ending. It is one of the most heart felt films I've seen and it made me 'awww' throughout the movie. It is not your typical chick flick as you get to see it from a guys point of view. It is a great feel good movie and one that would make you laugh! It is well put together and even has some cheesy lines! I liked this movie and is definitely one I could watch again! Awesome!

Overall, I’d give it a 9/10 and a recommend watch!

July's Challenge

So I'm having post holiday blues.

When I was abroad, time was not an issue, it seemed that I had all the time in the world to do what I love and just enjoy life! Now, that I am back in London I find myself feeling the way I felt before I left... crap. Not appreciating life, feeling bored, tired and not enjoying life. So I have decided to set myself a challenge for July.

The challenge is simple, it is to write one thing down that made me laugh or smile or just happy. =D

Day #1

When I was cleaning I found my shirt signed by my fellow friends in year 11. My friend wrote on it 'It's been great knowing you. You're a great friend had lots of fun in tec on Saturdays - 'borrowing' stuff in French Good luck see you in sixth form lots of love ivy'. The reason why this makes me smile, is because it bought back loads of happy memories when I was in school and also it shows how my friendship grew stronger everyday with this friend. So glad that we are still the greatest of friends =)

Day #2
At 00.25am a friend wrote 'Btw I like you twitter pic *smiley face with heart eyes*' - This made me smile even though I was about to fall asleep. To wake up to read that, was worth it. He made me laugh even more, because I told him to stop bugging me and then he goes 'ooh one more thing' and I replied 'what?' he then says 'ermmm nothinggg' The silliness of it made me laugh.

Day #3
Today has been a busy day at work and I love it when I do overtime because I get to talk to my fellow colleagues. There's this one guy at work who I really do enjoy working with. We talk and argue about the most stupidest things and he's a cool guy. Today he told me about clubbing in Portugal and how there's 'ladies night' which is nights where ladies get in a club for free with free drinks all night! Amazing or what?! Also we had a little joke around. Always fun when you're doing the same old thing over and over :)

Day #4
I am shattered! I woke up feeling like this and the mood hasn't changed! I am still shattered if not worse! But today has been a good day. I have two things that made me happy today. The first is when I was at work and I was talking to someone at work and he was telling me about how guys think. It was such an interesting conversation. He told me that guys should 'never tell a girl he likes her' as it would be like 'shooting yourself in the foot!' He also said, guys need to act like they don't care even if they do. He also told me stories about guys and girls and his past experiences. It really made me think. The second thing that happened today, was that meeting up with my two besties. And we spoke about going away on a holiday for my 25th birthday. It was nice talking about holiday and friends. Now I really want to go! It made me smile, despite behind tired. =)

Day #5
Today has been a strange day. Earlier on, I felt 'happy'. No real reason why but I felt content. It was just a feeling. I was in a kind of reminiscing mood. It wasn't a HAPPY happy, just a general 'I'm ok happy'... weird.

Day #6
So it's Friday! Yay! It always puts me in a good mood! Today at work was great. There's this girl at work who never fails to make me smile and laugh! She said out loud, 'You love your brown men' as one of my managers walked by! She looked at me with the strangest look, as if she wasn't too sure what she heard and confused at the same time! It was really funny! People at work keeps saying I like this person and that person (famous ones).. why is it that people always do this to me!! And then when I was at the back of the stock room, I had a few good conversations! We was talking about winning the lottery and whether we would give some money to the rest of the fellow back of house. I had a good day today :) I'm feeling good, like I'm finally moving forward in life!

I was chilling most of today and I got a TV in my room! It is the old small one but at least it works! It was really funny because I was saying how 'HD' it was, of course it isn't! but I had a good old laugh. Now I can watch TV and DVD in bed! Something I had wished for, for ages!

Sunday! I've just been chilling but a lot of people have messaged me on various social network sites and this has made me smile. It feels to be talking to people :) I am happy.

Day #9
Today it was my nan's birthday. We went out to eat with the cousins at our local restaurant. It came up to about £324, we had some wine and ate a delicious meal. My nan's smile was priceless. She was so happy and I could see she was genuinely happy. I had a good night. Happy birthday nan.

I was feeling positive today because I was sick of people moaning about life. I had a good conversation at work and with my fellow friends.

Day #11
My overtime was cut today so I finished at 11am! It was a good feeling! When I got home, I worked on a video from my holiday. It was really fun and made me smile. My network is down therefore no net, which sucks a little but at least I can't do anything on my phone. Cutting down my addiction! Can't do any harm! I'm still feeling positive! Happy.

It was quite funny at work today. There's a new cover manager who is just so annoying and everyone who comes to the back of house always has a good moan. It was funny seeing how frustrated people were. Also, twitter with JIL was funny. I'm feeling quite content at the moment. Weather's crap though.

After such a tiring day at work, I went out with to Loch Fyne with my uni friends. It was such a lovely evening. We had oysters and I had the scallops and it was delicious! We talked about guys and laughed so much it was brilliant. I absolutely love it!

I woke up with an epiphany! It felt good because I was motivated to change! I want a new look, new wardrobe, new job and to embrace life with new adventures! So that is what I will be doing! :)

Today has been quite a mellow day. My sister has an interview tomorrow and I've been making jokes about it ie. 'What is the sick pay like? Because I'm planning to take as much as possible' As a question. It was really funny.

My friend at work said I looked brown! Yay! I'm still brown from my holiday! I also bought myself some new clothes and bought two ties for my dad for my sisters graduation. Oh so tired again. Feeling ok though :)

So I went out with my close buddies from school today to a restaurant at the o2 called Jimmy's. It was a buffet and we sat there from 6-10pm! It was lovely environment, and food was yummy! We had some much fun laughing about so many things!! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and had such a blast! I couldn't start to list the things that was funny. It was just too much!!! I loved it. Had the greatest night in such a long time! We then bumped into a few college familiar faces too! Which was nice. :). I got home around 11.10pm because the trains decided not to work and we ended up having to get bus 108 to Stratford.

Day #18
I was in such a good mood from last night! It was brilliant. I was laughing by myself on the bus on the way to and from work. During lunch I was still laughing and every time I think about the night, I keep smiling to myself. Even though during the day at work, the girl at work did get on my nerves and i was shattered to the core!! But my managers were in a strangely good mood which made me laugh. When I got home, my friend called me and I was asking her questions about her potential guy plus perfect date scenario and i couldn't stop laughing. It was such a good conversation. My week has been so good so far. I'm actually happy. It is a strange feeling. I didn't expect to be but I am happy. It is rare, I feel this happy. Motivated to do well in life :)

Nothing major today, but it was my sister's graduation ceremony so my parents are both off work and home. It is nice to spend time with the family and just to eat dinner and laugh together because usually both or one is at work. We don't get to see them often so when I do, i appreciate every moment. I love my family. <3

My friend called me today to discuss her birthday plans and it was really funny. I pretended that my PA was called Miss Daisy Guide, purely because the webpage i was on had a daisy and I saw the word guide on it! She asked me if I knew what balloon riding was when she meant hot air balloon! It was a good day!

The day started slow and I was 15 minutes late for work!! It was terrible but towards the end of work I was happy. We had another good talk at the back of house and this time we was discussing about how wearing a bikini in a shopping centre and wearing it on a beach was the same thing! I said it was completely different and my work mate asked me if I would do it. I said No! and he called me a chicken lol It was really funny, it was a good day!

Batman! Me and two other friends went to watch batman and even though the movie wasnt the best it was quite good towards the end. It was a lovely day!

I love it when it's so hot and the sun is shinning on your bare skin! I went out for drinks and dinner at Sway bar with 2 other friends and even though it was quite a short outing. It was nice.

It was the Olympic opening ceremony and so after work it was quite busy around. We decided to go for some drinks at the pub close to work called The Calf. It was the first time I tired Pimms with lemonade and it was yum! I loved it! Very summer-y. And I also got to see the merry side of people at work which was nice. I had a really good time.

First sister holiday...ever!

View from the hotel

Saturday 23rd June 2012 - Bom Dia Portugal! 
Getting to the airport was hassle free. We ordered a cab from our house to London bridge and the cab driver was so nice. We gave him £25 and said keep the change. He told us it was £18 and gave us the £5 back. He was so honest and lovely. :) From London Bridge we got the FCC train to gatwick airport which cost about £10 each. We dropped our bags and did a spot of shopping at duty free. It was then time to board the plane. As we had speedy boarding, it didn't take us long to board the plane at all. The plane was 3 seats on both sides. It was a change from the usual big plane I board to hong kong but it wasn't dirty or squishy. I chose to sit on the window because I love the sight of floating on the clouds. It's pretty awesome. :) We touched down at about 19.20pm and despite the annoying men sitting behind us ranting and raving it was a easy quick good flight. We got onto the shuttle bus which is like a small van that took us to our hotel. It took about an hour and it was lovely seeing the scenery. I had a laughing fit in the van. Once we arrived at the hotel, around 9pm, we went down to the restaurant and ate. It was alright and then we headed down to the beach. It was the best thing ever. Seeing the stars and having not a care in the world. It almost felt surreal. I still can't believe it. Lying under the stars even for a short while was amazing. Truly incredible. It was that beautiful. When we got back to the hotel we laughed and chilled some more and planned the days ahead. 

Exploring 

Sunday 24th June 2012 
We had some seafood and just spent a lot of the time on the beach and going for a dip in the sea! We also decided to see what was around Algarve by foot and ended up exploring Alvor and the stretch along the beach. We stopped off for refreshments and just enjoyed the heat and scenery around us. 

Insonia Caves

Monday 25th June 2012 
Prior to our trip we had arranged a small boat ride to see the Insonia Caves in Alberferia. We headed down to Alberferia via a bus/coach that departed just outside our hotel. It was great fun. We managed to see dolphins swimming, the caves and really enjoy the experience on a small boat. We then did some chilling and had dinner by the beach which was delicious and very soothing. 

Jeep!

Tuesday 26th June 2012 -
We booked a Jeep Safari at the hotel and it was one we was a little unsure of because it meant we had to be in a small confined area with others that we did not know. But it turned out to be quite exciting and the other people we was with were quite friendly. There was two other couples, one was older and one was about our age. It was lovely. Both were from the UK too, I think. 

The Algarve Jeep Safari was very fun. Our driver drove at ridiculous speeds through the sand and made the journey very exciting. It was like playing a real life game. We travelled on the Jeep leaving the coastal resorts and exploring the quite-washed villages, orange and lemon orchards and eucalyptus groves. You learn of the local flora and fauna, of the old traditions and customs still practiced in this area, of the secrets of harvesting the cork trees of their precious bark. You visit a small farm, sample some local honey and see where the “medronho” is distilled. Medronho is a very potent local drink made from the berries of the arbutus tree. It will apparently cure whatever ails you! The day includes a tasty lunch of chicken piri-piri in a local restaurant. It was all very nice!! I would recommend this trip! 

Dinner, Drinks, Football

Wednesday 27th June 2012 - 
We spend Wednesday doing some shopping and a bit of down time. As we had travelled to Portugal during the Euro football, we decided that we had to watch some football. We went out for drinks and dinner and watched the football with the locals. It was a lovely experience!

Beach Fun

Thursday 28th June 2012 - 

Our last day in Portugal, so we decided to spend it catching some last minute sun, eating food and doing some souvenir shopping. It had been a lovely week in Portugal and a great first holiday with my sisters. Definitely a wonderful, relaxing country to visit. If we had longer, we would probably have taken a trip to Lisbon. 

Happiness

The initial restaurant we had gone into prior to Maxwell was a big disappointment. So by the time we found Maxwell's we was hungry! We was seen too quickly when we arrived. The burger was good but nothing that made it stand out from other places. There was happy hour going on for drinks so my friends and I decided to get a glass of woowoo. It was a great late lunch/dinner. 

An overall rating 6/10.
